A Nairobi family is in distress after their kin, Mr. Nicodemus Osiemo, was reportedly abducted from a carwash near their home in Zimmerman under mysterious circumstances.
According to witnesses, the incident occurred around 6:45 p.m., moments after Osiemo drove into the carwash.
Three Subaru vehicles allegedly pulled up, and several unidentified men stormed out, forcibly bundling him into one of the cars before speeding off towards the main road.
Since then, Osiemo’s phone has remained switched off, and his family says all efforts to trace his whereabouts have been futile.
“We have not heard from him since Friday evening. We are living in fear and confusion. We just want to know where he is and if he’s safe,” said his distraught son.
The family has already reported the matter to the police and is appealing to the DCI to urgently intervene.
Mr. Osiemo was reportedly out on bond in connection with a Ksh160 million fraud case involving Njiwa Sacco, where he and 11 others are accused of conspiring to defraud the cooperative of millions of shillings.
The case was scheduled for mention next week, raising fears that his disappearance could be linked to the ongoing court battle.
