Police in Kisumu have dismantled a suspected motor vehicle theft syndicate following a meticulously coordinated, intelligence-led operation conducted by officers from Migosi and Kasagam Police Stations.

The joint operation, led by the respective station commanders, was carried out at Khayeko Junction and Aliwa Village within Kisumu East Sub-County, resulting in the recovery of several vehicles believed to have been stolen.

A follow-up search at one of the targeted homesteads led to the discovery of additional exhibits, including car radios, vehicle registration plates, and assorted spare parts.

Two suspects were arrested during the operation and are currently assisting police with investigations. One other suspect remains at large, with officers intensifying efforts to track and apprehend them.

All recovered exhibits have been secured at Migosi Police Station as authorities work to verify ownership and link the evidence to ongoing theft cases in the region.
