I come before you today with a heavy heart following the unfortunate incident that occurred during my recent function at Opondo area in Central Kasipul Ward. An engagement that was meant to bring us together in peace and unity, but which was sadly disrupted by Philip Aroko. In the confusion that followed, we lost two innocent lives.
First and foremost, I wish to convey my deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their loved ones. No words can ease the pain you are feeling, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I mourn with you as a fellow member of this community.
I want to make it clear that I do not condone any form of violence or disruption. My campaign and my leadership are built on the principles of peace, respect, and service to all. What happened was regrettable, and it does not represent the spirit of Kasipul, a people known for their unity, dignity, and commitment to progress.
Even in our grief, let us not lose hope. Let us remain calm, resist anger, and stand firm in our shared belief that peace is stronger than division. The future of Kasipul depends on our ability to rise above conflict and to work together for the good of all.
I call upon all leaders to put the interests of our people first. Let us honor the memories of those we have lost by building a community rooted in love, respect, and understanding.
To the people of Kasipul, we are resilient people. We have faced challenges before and emerged stronger each time. Together, we will overcome this moment of sorrow and continue our journey toward a peaceful and prosperous Kasipul.
May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace, and may God bless Kasipul.
