The Moiben business community is reeling from shock following a tragic domestic incident in which a well-known local businessman killed his wife before taking his own life.
According to preliminary reports, the man, identified as Jonah Kemboi, is said to have confronted his wife, Vanice, over allegations of infidelity.
The confrontation reportedly escalated into violence, resulting in Vanice’s death at their home.
Jonah is said to have later taken his own life.
The bodies of the couple were discovered inside the house, sending shockwaves through the community and leaving family members, friends, and neighbours struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss.
On social media, the couple had often presented a picture of a happy and loving marriage, frequently sharing photos together.
However, sources close to the family indicate that the relationship had been facing serious challenges away from the public eye.
News of the incident has triggered an outpouring of grief online, with many expressing disbelief and offering condolences to the affected families.
Authorities have launched investigations to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths as the Moiben community continues to mourn the tragic loss of two lives.
