Fresh details have emerged following the sudden death of popular gospel singer Betty Bayo, shedding light on the complex family dynamics surrounding her husband, Gitau (Tash).
Sources have revealed that Tash, who works as a truck driver in Boston, USA, has another wife and child abroad.
This revelation has raised questions about his role in the life of Bayo’s two children, whom she shared with controversial preacher Victor Kanyari.
According to reports, Tash is unlikely to take an active role in raising Bayo’s children, leaving the full parenting responsibility to Kanyari.
Renowned lawyer and social media personality Wahome Thuku weighed in on the matter, suggesting that Kanyari will now have to assume full custody and responsibility for the children.
“Those in the know say he will be the last man to even want anything to do with step-children,” Wahome said, adding, “Kanyari takes 100% responsibility by law and by all other ways. The best thing is to say these things now, more than later.”
Bayo and Kanyari, who had a highly publicized breakup years ago, were reportedly on cordial co-parenting terms before her passing.
However, unconfirmed reports suggest that Kanyari may have ignored Bayo’s calls in the days leading up to her untimely death, sparking speculation and emotional debate online.
