Pauline Njoroge, a key official in the Jubilee Party, has hit back at claims by Farouk Kibet that former President Uhuru Kenyatta is allegedly funding opposition politicians, including Sifuna, to destabilize the government.

Taking to her X account, Njoroge questioned the basis of Kibet’s allegations, asking why he has not produced concrete evidence of such funding.

She described it as ironic that Farouk, a close ally of President William Ruto, would suggest that Uhuru was financing opposition figures, while in reality, she noted, government funds were reportedly being channeled to ODM leader Oburu Odinga to organize his rallies.

Njoroge further insisted that rallies organized by Sifuna and other opposition politicians in Busia and Kitengela were organic, with no evidence of external funding.

“Hii hasira yote ni ya nini? 😅 Isn’t it them who are dishing out money in Oburu rallies? Something we have seen with our own eyes? Did they see any money being dished out in Busia or Kitengela? Or where is this Uhuru money they keep talking about being given out? Si watutolee evidence,” Njoroge tweeted.
