President William Ruto has once again demonstrated his unwavering passion for modern farming after importing a consignment of top-quality cattle breeds from South Africa.
The world-class livestock — reportedly among the finest dairy breeds globally — were photographed over the weekend being transported in well-secured trucks en route to the President’s expansive Kilgoris farm in Narok County.
Sources close to the farm revealed that the imported animals are part of the President’s ongoing efforts to boost productivity and improve genetic diversity in his livestock enterprise.
President Ruto, a well-known advocate for agribusiness, has consistently urged Kenyans to embrace modern and commercial farming as a means of achieving economic empowerment and food security.
The latest move underscores his long-standing belief that agriculture remains the backbone of Kenya’s economy — not just a source of livelihood but a gateway to national prosperity.
