Mexican TV presenter Debora Estrella has died aged 43 in a plane crash.
Mexican channel Multimedia, who Debora worked for, confirmed the tragic news in a social media post yesterday, September 21.
“At MULTIMEDIA we are shocked and deeply sorry for the loss of our colleague. Debora Estrella, 43 years old, was running the Morning Telediario in Monterrey since the year 2018, as well as taking over spaces in the news of Milenio Television and running the Mexico City Telediario through Channel 6 on the weekends,” they wrote.

“Debora di3d this Saturday, September 20, in a plane crash registered in the municipality of Garcia, Nuevo León. We express our deepest condolences to their families and loved ones. Rest in peace, mate.”
Debora had been learning to fly when her plane crashed. Both Debora and her instructor Bryan Ballesteros di3d when their small aircraft plummeted to the ground.
The tragedy unfolded near an industrial estate in Garcia shortly after she had announced online that she was learning to fly.
The Mexican TV personality had shared a photograph of the two-seater Cessna she was training in and posted, “Guess what,” before her lesson.
Spanish publication Infobae revealed that the incident happened at approximately 6:50pm when the plane suddenly plunged near the Pesqueria River. \

It added, “The rapid response of Civil Protection Unit 04 and other rescue teams failed to prevent the death toll of two people.”
Debora was an accomplished TV presenter on MMTV, sharing images of herself at work on a regular basis. Her final workplace photograph was uploaded shortly before her tragic death, with the broadcaster captioning, “Buenos dias,” as she struck a pose in a black outfit in the studio with a radiant smile across her face.
Fans have paid tribute to the late star since news of her death.
