There was drama in Kyasila Village, Machakos County, after several suspected witches were caught red-handed performing bizarre rituals outside the residence of Governor Wavinya Ndeti.

According to eyewitnesses, the individuals were seen chanting incantations and making strange movements near the homestead before alarmed villagers rushed to the scene.

The angry residents confronted and beat up the suspects before alerting police officers, who arrived swiftly and took them into custody.

Investigations are underway to determine their motives and the purpose of the ritual.

The bizarre incident has left villagers in disbelief, with many speculating that the act may have been driven by political or personal motives.
