President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, has surprised many Kenyans after she was spotted with a huge motorcade on her way to Bondo to visit the grave of the late former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga.
Raila Odinga passed away on Wednesday, October 16th, and was laid to rest at his Bondo home on October 19th, 2025.
Since his death, many leaders and influential figures in society have been visiting Raila Odinga’s home in Bondo to condole with his family and to view his grave, as he was an outstanding statesman.

However, unlike other Kenyans, Charlene Ruto, who visited Bondo on Tuesday, was accompanied by a large convoy, including the luxury vehicle she was riding in, which reportedly cost taxpayers KSh 35 million.
Charlene was driven in the latest version of the Lexus LX 600—the 2025 model valued at over KSh 35 million. She was also escorted by several fuel-guzzling vehicles, all maintained at the expense of Kenyan taxpayers.
Below is a video of Charlene Ruto visiting Raila Odinga’s Bondo home, accompanied by a fleet of luxury vehicles.
