A cloud of mystery hangs over Lugari, Kakamega County, after the principal of Munyuki Secondary School, Mr. Simon Isiaho Shange, went missing following a road accident early Monday morning.
According to reports, the principal was involved in an accident at the Muge black spot while driving to Turbo to refuel before proceeding to the KCSE examination distribution centre at around 5:30 a.m.
Shockingly, Mr. Shange has not been seen since the crash.
His phone remains unreachable, and searches in nearby hospitals and mortuaries have turned up no trace of him.
Authorities and education officials in the area have launched investigations to determine his whereabouts, as anxiety continues to grip teachers, students, and family members.
Police have cordoned off the accident scene and are appealing to anyone with information that could help trace the missing principal to come forward.
