Police in Nairobi are investigating a gruesome discovery after a human skeleton was found concealed inside a septic tank at a private residence in the upmarket Muthangari area.
The skeleton was uncovered by workers hired to empty the tank, who reportedly stumbled upon the remains believed to be those of a woman.
Several items of clothing were recovered alongside the body, including a skirt, bra, innerwear, white blouse, and a petticoat. Investigators suspect that the woman may have been killed elsewhere before her body was dumped in the tank.
Authorities have not yet identified the deceased, and the motive behind the suspected killing remains unknown.
The skeleton was retrieved by police and taken to the mortuary pending an autopsy and further forensic analysis.
