Photos Of ODM NEC Members Watching Sifuna’s Massive Kitengela Rally—They Look Uneasy and Disturbed!!

Photos have surfaced showing senior Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leaders closely watching a huge rally organised by ousted party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna in Kitengela.

Sifuna, accompanied by several youthful ODM allies, held what turned out to be a successful public gathering in the cosmopolitan town to protest his removal by the ODM National Executive Committee last week.

The rally drew thousands of supporters, with many observers comparing the energy and turnout to the kind of massive crowds that the late ODM leader Raila Odinga was famously known for attracting.

At the same time, as Sifuna addressed supporters in Kitengela, top ODM officials were attending a separate “Linda Grounds” rally at Tononoka Grounds in Mombasa.

However, the Mombasa meeting was reportedly poorly attended, a situation some interpreted as a sign that the party’s true grassroots support may now be shifting towards Sifuna.

During the proceedings in Tononoka, senior ODM figures — including party chairperson Gladys Wanga and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed — were spotted streaming Sifuna’s mammoth Kitengela rally on their phones. In the images, they appear visibly unsettled by the sheer number of people who turned up.

Below are photos of Gladys Wanga, Oburu Odinga, and Junet Mohamed watching the Kitengela rally instead of focusing on their own event at Tononoka Grounds.
