Shock As Thika Town MP ,Alice Nganga Is Chased Out Of Her Constituency For Supporting Ruto – VideoS

Shock and drama unfolded in Thika Town on Monday after area Member of Parliament Alice Nganga was reportedly chased away by angry residents during a public event.

A video circulating online shows the MP being forced to cut short her appearance at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Thika Stadium. The event had attracted several senior government leaders, including Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi, who had come to officially launch the project.

Alice Nganga, who was among the invited leaders, attempted to address the crowd as part of the program. However, things quickly took an unexpected turn when sections of the public began shouting her down before she could deliver her remarks. Witnesses say residents openly rejected her presence, accusing her of betraying the people by supporting President William Ruto.

The situation escalated fast, forcing her security team into a tense struggle as they tried to shield her from the increasingly hostile crowd. Some members of the public reportedly attempted to confront her physically, prompting the guards to quickly escort her away from the venue.

Thika Town, like much of the larger Mt Kenya region, is predominantly made up of Kikuyu residents, many of whom have grown increasingly dissatisfied with President Ruto’s leadership. In recent months, there has been rising political tension in the region, with some locals claiming they feel abandoned or betrayed by the Kenya Kwanza administration.

As a result, leaders from Mt Kenya who are seen to align themselves with President Ruto are increasingly facing backlash from their constituents. The incident involving Alice Nganga is being viewed as yet another sign of the widening political rift between Ruto and parts of the vote-rich Mt Kenya bloc.

The video of the moment continues to spark heated reactions online, with many calling it a clear warning to politicians who ignore the mood on the ground.
