A female security guard working at one of Safaricom’s customer care centers has finally broken her silence after a video featuring her went viral online.

The clip, which has been widely shared across social media platforms, involves a Russian tourist who has recently sparked controversy in Kenya.

The man has been trending for approaching random Kenyan women in public, starting conversations with them, and later posting the encounters online for content.

In this particular video, the tourist is seen engaging the security guard while she was on duty outside the customer care center. What starts off as a casual conversation quickly turns personal when he asks for her phone number. The situation later escalates when the two reportedly met again at the man’s Airbnb apartment.

Since the video surfaced, the guard has found herself at the center of harsh public criticism. Many Kenyans online have been attacking her, with some accusing her of entertaining the foreigner’s advances, while others have mocked her relentlessly.

The intense backlash has taken a toll on her, prompting her to speak out and plead with the public to stop the trolling.

In an emotional appeal, she asked Kenyans to respect her privacy and allow her to move on from the incident.

“Acheni na maisha yangu,” she said, urging people to stop interfering in her personal life.

Her message is clear: she is human, she made her choices, and she deserves the space to live without being judged or bullied online.

The incident has once again sparked debate about social media shaming, privacy, and the growing trend of foreigners using Kenyan women for viral content.
