What began as a desperate search for a missing son has ended in heartbreak.
Eric Llyod Ochieng, a young man who lived with his family at Valley Hills, 4th Rise, was reported missing on Monday, February 16, 2026, at around 5pm.
According to his family, Eric left home shortly after receiving a WhatsApp call from an unknown person.
Relatives say he stepped out casually, as if he was meeting someone within the neighborhood.
He did not appear distressed or alarmed.
Eric was known to walk around the Kerarapon area, often accompanied by his black-and-white chihuahua.
When he failed to return home, concern quickly turned into panic.
His family issued a public appeal, sharing his photo and details of his disappearance in hopes that someone had seen him.
Now, in a tragic twist, reports indicate that a body believed to be Eric’s was discovered in bushes within the Ngong Hills area.
The mention of a WhatsApp call prior to his disappearance has raised troubling questions.
Investigators are expected to examine phone records, digital footprints, and possible contacts to establish who he may have met and what transpired afterward.
