Residents of Chebunyo Ward have been left surprised after it emerged that their Member of County Assembly (MCA) has been largely absent since being elected into office.

According to reports, the MCA has rarely been seen in the ward, opting instead to pursue aviation training in South Africa, where he has since qualified as a licensed pilot.

In a candid revelation, the ward representative reportedly stated that he will not be seeking re-election and asked not to be bothered over political matters.

The MCA first gained public attention during a previous bid for the Chepalungu Constituency parliamentary seat, where he stood out for using a bicycle to campaign across the region, a move that earned him both praise and publicity.

Now, his journey has taken an unexpected turn, trading local politics for the skies as a certified pilot.
