A 23-year-old man who was lynched by an angry mob in Nairobi’s Utawala Estate after snatching a mobile phone has left behind an expectant girlfriend, according to photos shared on his social media accounts.
Images posted on the suspect’s TikTok page show him posing with the pregnant woman while proudly cradling her baby bump.
The couple appeared happy as they anticipated the arrival of their child before the tragic incident.
The suspect was cornered by members of the public after an alleged phone-snatching incident that ended in a failed escape.
He was beaten up by a mob and later died from his injuries.
