I knew Director Joe Myles through my friend Evans Dims when I was buying a VW Tiguan.
Our first interaction was at the late Ongondo Were’s home where he delivered the car from Nairobi as was assigned by Evance
Dims bought the car , did all the process and gave Joe the car to deliver which he did at the burial of the former member parliament for Kasipul at around 1930hrs and I sent 6k for the service and arranged for his transport back to Nairobi and we exchanged numbers.
There’s this day we met ni Kilimani, we took these earthly things together until late with him and my brother Matete Brian and Okoto Nyuka Bel , my mechanic and of course Evans, he was calm , soft and funny, everyone left there ways.
So on December I got a new car , left my VW with my mechanic with plans to get a new Engine to replace the current one , the car had been there till the last time Myles was found dead.
Joe had taken the car from the mechanic to run some of his errands in Nairobi National Pack and promised to return the car on Sunday.
On Tuesday last week around 0930hrs I found a call from Evans asking if I had talked to Steve (the mechanic) and I said the last time we talked was days back , then he told me “ I have received a call that a VW of registration number xxx has been found in a crime seen around Naivasha and Steve , you and I are needed in Naivasha police station by noon “ he further told me it’s like Myles took the car from Steve and the last information is that he is found butchered in Naivasha and the car packed along the road 300m away from the dumped body.
I called Steve immediately and he did not receive my calls I then received a call from a DCI and he told me “ you are so and so , your vehicle of registration number xxx has been found on a crime seen , you must be in Naivasha Police station by noon “ without thinking I started driving and arrived in Naivasha by around 1630hrs to make a statement how my car was found in such a seen un aware
I saw pictures of Joe , he was surely killed, butchered, tortured before his death . I saw devastating images of a young man who was so dedicated
I got broken seeing Myles without his Tongue
My brother Joe. Please don’t rest follow after your killers every minute.
