Police in Maungu are searching for the owner of a BMW that was mysteriously abandoned in a quiet village after reportedly developing mechanical problems.
According to residents, the luxury car had been parked in the same spot for several days, drawing curiosity and concern.
Locals eventually alerted the authorities after noticing that no one had returned to claim it.
When officers arrived at the scene, they confirmed that the sleek German machine had indeed suffered a mechanical breakdown. T
he vehicle was later towed to Maungu Police Station as investigations into its ownership continue.
Police say efforts are underway to trace the owner, as the car has since become the main topic of discussion in the otherwise calm village.
Interestingly, Kenyans onlnine couldn’t help but joke about the situation, noting that many second-hand BMWs imported into Kenya are known for their frequent mechanical issues — and this one, they said, seems to have “lived up to the reputation.”
