A fearless Catholic priest has taken on Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi after the legislator attempted to intimidate him during a burial ceremony.
The incident occurred at the funeral of Sudi’s aunt, Mama Pauline Chelimo Kipkore, where tension arose over the role of politicians at the event.
Sudi, who had spoken earlier, reportedly threatened to eject Father Chrispinus from the ceremony for refusing to allocate time for politicians to promote President William Ruto’s Tutam gospel.

When Father Chrispinus took the microphone, he delivered a powerful and direct message, condemning Kenyan politicians—led by Sudi—for spreading lies, arrogance, and divisive rhetoric.

In his sermon, the priest reminded them that wealth and power are temporary, stressing that even those who own helicopters and have millions in their bank accounts will one day die and leave all material possessions behind.

He urged politicians to abandon arrogance, empty boasts, and inflammatory statements, warning that God is displeased with the direction the country’s leadership is taking.
