Ruto’s Man Threatens To Abduct Gen Zs Who Were Shouting Him Down—Video

A close ally of President William Ruto has threatened to deal ruthlessly with Gen Z, who shouted him down in his constituency.

The incident happened in Sirisia Constituency on Monday when area MP John Waluke was drumming up support for Tim Wanyonyi’s gubernatorial bid for Bungoma County in 2027.

However, when he was given the platform, many young people who were Gen Z shouted him down, with others heckling him.

Waluke, in a warning to those youths who were heckling him, told them he can order police to abduct them and also threatened to beat them.

“Stop making noise. Why are you behaving like birds? And this issue of drinking—you must stop it. You have foolish habits that I don’t tolerate. You know I don’t play around. I can slap you, and you’ll be shocked. I don’t want people responding when a leader is speaking. I have police officers here, and I can even order your arrest right now. Sit respectfully like women. Don’t come here after drinking alcohol. You’ve heard me—no one will bring nonsense to a serious meeting like this,” Waluke said.

Waluke, who is a close friend of President William Ruto, also criticised the youth for irresponsible behaviour and financial recklessness, saying efforts to revive the county aim to improve livelihoods and self-sufficiency—highlighting Wanyonyi’s leadership as central to that mission.

“You’re playing around and don’t even have clothes; they’ve spent all the money. We want to revive things so you can live well and buy your own clothes—that’s why we’ve brought manager Wanyonyi,” Waluke said.

Waluke also emphasised the need to eliminate illicit brews like chang’aa in Bungoma County, which he said hinder youth progress.

Here is a video of Waluke threatening to abduct Gen Z who shouted him down.
