Following the tragic shooting along Nairobi’s Moi Avenue that claimed the lives of two brothers accused of robbing a Sacco manager of Ksh 300,000, a woman believed to be the wife of one of the deceased has shared a heartbreaking tribute on TikTok.
In the emotional post, the grieving widow makes no reference to her husband’s alleged involvement in crime.
Instead, she reflects on love, loss, and the good moments they shared together.
“Losing you didn’t just hurt — it shattered me,” she wrote. “You were my safety, my love, my home.”
Her message offers a deeply personal portrayal of a man who, to her, was far removed from the circumstances surrounding his death.
She describes him as the person who believed in her when she struggled to believe in herself, and someone whose presence made her world feel gentler and safer.
Now, she says, life feels unbearably hollow.
“I smile, I breathe, I exist — but something in me is missing,” she shared. “I’m left carrying memories instead of your voice, your hugs and your presence.”
The pain, she adds, became overwhelming when she saw his body, saying it broke whatever strength she had left.
“Your love was real. Rare. Irreplaceable,” she concluded.
The post has since sparked emotional reactions online, with many sympathizing with her grief.
