An alleged assassination plot targeting Kimilili Ford Kenya parliamentary aspirant Hon. Fred Joshua Makokha has sparked tension in the constituency following a violent incident at the Kimilili VIP Forum.
According to preliminary reports, fellow aspirant Sadam Jnr has been accused of engineering the attack, during which Makokha was reportedly stabbed and his vehicle stoned by unidentified assailants.
Makokha is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital, while his vehicle has been impounded at the Bungoma Police Station as part of ongoing investigations.
Witnesses at the scene claim the confrontation escalated shortly after the forum session, though the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
