A middle-aged man was seen wailing outside Gatundu Level 5 Hospital mortuary after the body of his child, which was kept at the facility, was eaten by rats.
The man was at pains to explain how his child, who had died was devoured by rats, exposing a deep rot at Gatundu Level 5 Hospital, and the buck stops with Kiambu County Governor Kimani Wamatangi.
The man also revealed that all bodies that have been kept at Gatundu Level 5 Hospital mortuary have been devoured by rats, especially around the lips and necks.
