Video Of ‘Gestapo Officers’ Ruto’s Government Used To Silence Gen Zs On Thursday

A chilling video has emerged showing rogue police officers deployed by the Kenya Kwanza Alliance administration to silence and suppress any youth who dared to take to the streets on Thursday during the commemoration of colleagues killed during the anti-Finance Bill protests of June 2024 and 2025.

Millions of young Kenyans had been planning to hold peaceful demonstrations on Thursday to honour the hundreds of youth who lost their lives in those protests.

However, millions chose to stay home after credible warnings emerged that the state intended to infiltrate the commemorations with goons and rogue officers, using the cover of the protests to kill and maim demonstrators once again.

Like clever and disciplined students who had learned from painful experience, the youth refused to take the bait. They stayed off the streets and away from their workplaces, delivering a quiet but devastating blow to the government as the economy bled billions in lost revenue for the day.

But even as the streets remained calm, the machinery of state violence was fully operational and waiting. In Githurai, police officers dressed in civilian clothes and wearing masks were captured on video patrolling the area in formation, poised and ready to pounce on any young person who showed up to protest, much like a predator crouched in the shadows waiting for its prey to appear.

The parallels with Adolf Hitler’s feared secret police, the Gestapo, are impossible to ignore. Just as the Gestapo operated outside the law, used plainclothes officers, and thrived on intimidation and fear to crush dissent, Kenya’s government on Thursday deployed its own version of that machinery against its own citizens.

Here is the video of Kenya’s Gestapo officers lying in wait in Githurai, ready to maim and kill any youth who demonstrated on Thursday.
