Former Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has raised concerns over the safety of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, warning that he could be putting himself at risk by making too many enemies.
Kuria made the remarks in a post on X, where he acknowledged his political differences with Gachagua but said he still cared deeply about him as an old friend.
“My differences with Rigathi Gachagua notwithstanding, I deeply care for him as an old friend,” Kuria wrote.
The former CS went on to express concern over what he described as Gachagua’s growing list of enemies, warning that the situation could potentially expose him to danger.
“At the rate he is making everyone an enemy, I keep fearing that some crazy guy might do a Lee Harvey Oswald solo act. God Forbid!” Kuria added.
Lee Harvey Oswald was identified by US authorities as the assassin of President John F. Kennedy in 1963, making Kuria’s reference particularly striking.
