Controversial Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo had spoken passionately about his powerful connections with Presidents and prominent Men of God just three days before his reported death in a chopper crash.
In a post that has now attracted attention following his death, Chivayo attributed his success and close relationships with powerful people to the Grace of God, saying some things in life could not simply be explained as luck or coincidence.
“I couldn’t agree with this young man. Some things in life cannot simply be explained as luck or coincidence,” Chivayo wrote.
He went on to highlight how he had found himself walking behind several different Presidents, sitting and dining with powerful Men of God, being welcomed into their homes and enjoying genuine relationships with people of such stature.
Chivayo said he remained deeply conscious that everything he had achieved, every door that had opened and every level he had reached came from God Almighty.
“I may work hard, take risks and pursue opportunities, but without His favour, none of it would mean anything,” he stated.
He then made a bold declaration over his life, saying he would “NEVER, EVER BE BROKE ANY SINGLE DAY OF MY LIFE.”
“My cup shall continue to overflow, my territory shall continue to enlarge, and I shall continue being a blessing to the House of God, my family and others,” he added.
His words have since taken on a different meaning following reports of his death.
