A middle-aged woman of Belgian citizenship has died following a tragic road accident in Kilome, Makueni County.

The incident occurred near Best Lady Farm, opposite Nyumba Ndune, as a tourist Nissan van they were traveling in collided with a trailer while heading towards Salama.

According to reports, the Belgian woman succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

A male passenger, identified as a Portuguese citizen, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
