The search for Brian Mugambi has ended in heartbreak after it emerged that he died following a tragic road accident, with his family only learning of his death days later.
According to reports, Brian was involved in a fatal road accident on July 28 and was rushed to Murang’a Level 5 Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
In a heartbreaking twist, his family remained unaware of his whereabouts throughout the ordeal and only learnt of his death today.
Even more disturbing are allegations that a first responder took advantage of Brian’s helpless condition by stealing his belongings, including his mobile phone—the very device that could have helped authorities identify him and quickly notify his loved ones.
The theft meant Brian remained unidentified as he fought for his life in hospital before eventually passing away, leaving his family desperately searching for him without knowing he was already gone.
The tragic incident has sparked outrage, with many calling for accident victims to be treated with dignity and for swift efforts to identify them and reunite them with their families, rather than exploiting them during their most vulnerable moments.
