Detectives from the DCI Kilimani, working jointly with officers from the DCI Nairobi Regional Office, have arrested three suspects linked to the violent invasion of All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi, where an ongoing meeting was forcefully disrupted.
Acting on intelligence leads and supported by forensic analysis, detectives trailed and arrested George Omondi Otieno, Effenburg Wanyama Khisa, and Melvin Alumasa Bwani at different locations within Nairobi.
During the operation, officers recovered a red Boxer motorcycle, registration number KMFH 161S, which is believed to have been used in the commission of the offence.
Mobile phones belonging to the suspects were also seized and taken in for forensic examination to assist with ongoing investigations.
Investigations have further revealed that the attack may not have been carried out by the three suspects alone.
Detectives are actively pursuing additional leads to establish the full extent of the alleged criminal network and identify all individuals involved.
The three suspects join two others who were earlier arrested in connection with the same incident.
All are currently in custody undergoing processing pending arraignment in court.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has assured the public that no effort will be spared in bringing all those responsible to justice.
