A woman has come forward claiming she was the second wife of the late journalist Festus Amimo, sparking fresh controversy as she demands official recognition from his family.
The woman, identified as Eunice, alleges that she had a long-term relationship with Amimo and that they share two children together.
According to her, the relationship was known to some of Amimo’s close associates, even though it was never made public.
Fueling the online debate, a photo of one of the children has surfaced on social media, with many netizens pointing out what they describe as a striking resemblance to the late journalist.
The image has intensified speculation and divided opinion, with some calling for the family to acknowledge the claims, while others urge caution.
Amimo, who collapsed and died last weekend while reportedly having a good time with a woman at a city hotel, had previously been described by acquaintances as a womanizer—an assertion that has resurfaced amid the unfolding drama.
As of now, Amimo’s family has not issued any official statement regarding Eunice’s claims.
The situation continues to generate heated discussion online as the public awaits clarity on the matter.
