Kasarani Member of Parliament and SportPesa Chief Executive Officer Ronald Karauri has found himself at the center of controversy following claims made by a young man who alleges that the two were romantically involved.
The individual, identified on Telegram as moh_e-ghai, has alleged that he was in a relationship with Karauri, stating that they first met at Hebanos Club in Nairobi.
According to the young man, he had previously been dating another man before beginning what he describes as a relationship with the SportPesa CEO. He further claimed that during this period, he experienced a number of health complications.
Karauri, who divorced his former wife Ruth Karauri—a pilot—was later linked to Tanzanian socialite Nana Dollz. The two reportedly dated for some time before parting ways amid allegations of infidelity.
The young man now claims that he has faced intimidation following the alleged fallout, asserting that he has been followed by unmarked vehicles and threatened over the possible release of private videos.
Despite the accusations, he described Karauri as generous, alleging that the MP often buys expensive gifts for his partners, including brand-new Volvo vehicles, as a token of appreciation.
The claims remain unverified, and Karauri has not publicly responded to the allegations.
