Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Naivasha have arrested three suspects who were found in possession of drugs and medical supplies stolen from Naivasha Level 4 Hospital.

According to investigators, the suspects were apprehended during an operation that led to the recovery of the medical items believed to have been unlawfully removed from the public health facility.

The recovered supplies are expected to form part of the evidence in the ongoing investigation.

The three suspects are currently being held at Naivasha Police Station and are expected to be arraigned in court to face charges related to the theft and possession of the stolen medical supplies.

The DCI has launched further investigations to determine the full scope of the theft, including how the drugs and supplies were removed from the hospital and whether additional individuals were involved in the scheme.
