Officers from Korogocho Police Station have arrested a notorious suspect linked to a series of phone-snatching incidents in the Korogocho area.
The arrest followed a swift response by officers after an armed robbery was reported at the police station.
Immediately after the victim filed the report, the officers deployed to the scene and successfully tracked down the suspect.
During the arrest, police recovered a Samsung smartphone believed to have been stolen, as well as a knife allegedly used in the commission of the crime.
The suspect was escorted to Korogocho Police Station, where he remains in custody awaiting processing and arraignment in court to face the relevant charges.
The National Police Service (NPS) has reiterated its commitment to combating crime and ensuring the safety and security of all Kenyans, residents, and visitors.
Members of the public have also been urged to continue reporting suspicious activities to the nearest police station or through the available police reporting channels.
