Renowned city preacher Victor Kanyari of Salvation Healing Ministry Church has revealed that he recently cancelled a planned trip to Dubai for one of his children, saying the decision was part of his efforts to instill discipline amid an ongoing family dispute.
Speaking during a midweek church service, Kanyari made it clear that he would not allow outsiders to dictate how he raises his children.
He noted that some people had accused him of being too strict, but maintained that he was simply carrying out his parental responsibilities and raising his children according to African values.
“There is no way I can tolerate and play around with a child when they have done something wrong,” he said.
As an example of the disciplinary measures he has recently taken, Kanyari disclosed that he cancelled a planned Dubai trip for one of his children.
However, he did not specify whether he was referring to his daughter, Sky Victor, or his son, Danny.
According to Kanyari, certain unresolved issues needed to be addressed before the trip could proceed.
“And that is why I cancelled a recent trip. It was for Dubai for my child, and I have cancelled it. That’s why I said let’s agree on our issues first,” he explained.
“Once everything is okay, we will agree on where you will go,” he added.
