Fresh family tensions have erupted publicly after the late Betty Bayo’s brother took to TikTok Live, making a series of emotional claims about Tash, the man who had been living with the gospel singer before her death.
During a heated livestream, Betty’s brother—clearly distressed—alleged that Tash had been financially dependent on their late sister.
According to him, Betty was solely responsible for most household expenses, including rent, which he claims had accumulated to three months in arrears at the time of her passing.
He went on to allege that Tash may already be preparing to remarry, expressing fears that such a development could have an impact on Betty’s children.
The family, he said, is worried about the intentions of the woman they believe Tash is currently involved with.
The brother also lamented what he described as Tash’s continued refusal to grant access to the children.
He claimed that Pastor Victor Kanyari, Betty’s ex-husband and the biological father of the kids, as well as other close relatives, have been denied contact — a move he said has only intensified tensions between the two sides.
The family now awaits a resolution as concerns over the children’s wellbeing continue to mount.
