DCP Party leader Rigathi Gachagua continued his political tour in the Meru region, launching a fierce verbal attack against Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, whom he labelled a coward during a rally that left the crowd laughing.
While addressing supporters, Gachagua mocked Kindiki’s high-pitched (soprano) voice, imitating the way he speaks as the crowd erupted in laughter.
“You can’t intimidate anyone with your voice,” Gachagua said while ridiculing the Deputy President.
He went further and sensationally claimed that Kindiki has been intimidated and even slapped by President William Ruto’s long-serving personal assistant, Farouk Kibet.
Switching to Kiswahili, Gachagua told the crowd:Wewe unachapwa kofi na Farouk. Unachapwa aje na mwanaume mwenzako?”(You are being slapped by Farouk. How can you be slapped by another man?)
The remarks sparked loud reactions from the crowd as the former Deputy President continued roasting his political rival.
