The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has issued an urgent appeal to the public for assistance in tracking down a suspect wanted in connection with a brutal murder in Kirinyaga County.
According to the DCI, the suspect is wanted over the killing of a 28-year-old woman, which is believed to have occurred on March 12, 2026, at an unknown time within the county.
Authorities say the suspect hails from Ngushui Village in Murinduko Location, Mwea Constituency, Kirinyaga County, and is currently on the run. Investigators have warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Members of the public who may have seen the suspect or have any information about his whereabouts are being urged to report immediately and in strict confidence.
