Mbavu The Destroyer has filed a case at the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) seeking the nullification of the results of his controversial ‘street fight’ with Majembe.
He claims the judges made a wrong call during the bout and is now asking the tribunal to declare him the rightful winner.
In his petition, he is also demanding the full prize package, including Ksh3.5 million cash, a Toyota Voxy valued at Ksh4 million, a Taro GP1 sport bike, and the championship belt.
Alternatively, Bavu is seeking an official rematch to settle the dispute once and for all.
He has named Majembe, event promoter Oga Obinna, as well as the Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) as respondents and an interested party in the case.
The SDT has certified the matter as urgent and directed that it be mentioned on April 15, 2026, when further directions will be issued after all parties respond to the claim.
