The National Police Service (NPS) fraternity has joined family, friends and members of the public in laying to rest the late Mrs. Risper Pamela Mwajuma Onyango, beloved wife of Deputy Director, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), John Onyango.
Leading the NPS fraternity in paying their final respects were DCI Director Mohamed Amin and Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat, alongside senior officers and staff drawn from across the Service.
The solemn burial ceremony is being held at Mukuyu Primary School in Uriri Sub-County, Migori County, bringing together family members, colleagues, friends and well-wishers to pay tribute to a life well lived.
The NPS said the presence of senior officers and staff at the burial demonstrated the strong bonds of solidarity, compassion and family that define the Service, particularly during moments of profound loss.
“The NPS fraternity stands shoulder to shoulder with the Deputy Director DCI, a gesture that speaks to the enduring bonds of solidarity, compassion and family that define the Service,” the police service said.
The NPS extended its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Onyango, his family and relatives, praying that the Almighty grants them strength, comfort and courage as they bear the loss.
