Residents of Kasarani have raised concerns over the escalating insecurity in the area, following rampant cases of armed robbery attacks carried out by thugs on motorbikes.
CCTV footage has captured the moment a middle-aged man was accosted by three thugs riding on a motorbike and robbed of his phone.
The man was busy on his phone, unaware that the thugs were targeting him.
One of the thugs jumped off the motorbike, brandished a machete and robbed the victim before fleeing with his accomplices.
The victim was left badly shaken as he ran to safety.
The incident has sparked concern among residents, who fear that the once relatively secure estate is increasingly becoming a hotspot for criminal activity.
