Full List of Banks In Kenya And Their Interest Rates On Loans And Deposits

Kenya has 38 operating banks, according to data from the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) as of June 2025.

These banks include KCB Bank, Equity Bank, NCBA Bank, Cooperative Bank, Absa Bank Kenya, Standard Chartered Bank, Diamond Trust Bank, Stanbic Bank, and I&M Bank.

Notably last month, CBK lowered its base lending rate to commercial banks for the sixth time in a row.

Below are the average interest rates charged on loans and offered to depositors across all commercial banks. The rates are arranged from the highest to the lowest lending rates.
