Detectives have arrested businessman Jack Bamboo in connection with the brutal murder of his late wife, Sheila.
According to a source, Jack was arrested in Tanzania, in an area called Matunga, where he had allegedly been hiding for over two years.
He had reportedly remarried and was in the process of building a home in the neighbouring country.
Sheila’s body was found on May 9, 2024, lying in a pool of blood on her matrimonial bed at Hill View Estate in Athi River, Machakos County.
She had deep cuts on her throat and neck, and an autopsy confirmed that she died from severe blood loss caused by a deep stab wound.
Her 18-year-old daughter discovered the body when she went to serve her lunch.
Her husband reportedly fled their home following the murder, and his whereabouts had remained unclear for over two years.
Before the tragic incident, Jack was known to run multiple businesses.
