A man is mourning the death of his father-in-law, Alphonce Ndugwa Mukhaya, after unknown individuals stormed his home at night and attacked him.
In a social media post, the deceased’s son-in-law said the incident happened at around 11:00pm when his father-in-law was resting at his home.
According to the post, the attackers inflicted serious injuries on Mukhaya before leaving the scene without stealing anything.
He was rushed to Kakamega Referral Hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
The grieving man expressed shock and pain over the incident, questioning why anyone would attack an elderly man who was simply resting in his home.
“It’s painful losing a father-in-law through the cruel hands of human beings. Why surely? My father-in-law Alphonce Ndugwa Mukhaya was in his home resting when thugs stormed his house yesternight at 11.00pm, inflicted serious injuries on him and left without stealing anything,” he wrote.
“He was rushed to Kakamega Referral Hospital where he was pronounced dead while undergoing medication. Days have come when human beings have opted to be inhuman,” he added.
