Police in Kilimani have launched investigations into an alleged assault involving the son of a sitting Member of Parliament and a househelp at the upscale Rose Avenue Apartments in Nairobi.
The incident reportedly prompted the apartment management to issue a notice to all residents, expressing concern over what it described as a rise in cases of violence, assault, intimidation and other forms of misconduct within the residential complex.
In the notice circulated to tenants, the management reminded residents that they are obligated to comply with the terms of their tenancy agreements.
It further emphasized that tenants would be held accountable not only for their own conduct but also for the actions of their family members, visitors, domestic staff, pets and any other individuals they allow onto the premises.
The management warned that failure to observe the rules governing the estate could result in action being taken against those found to be in violation of the tenancy agreement.
