Two thugs who robbed a woman of her Samsung Fold 3 phone after drugging her have dropped the phone at a police station after Citynews exposed them.
The thugs had robbed Margaret Muthoni of her phone after drugging her, and she nearly caused a fatal accident following the incident.

What made the case unusual was that Muthoni’s phone had CrookCatcher installed, an application that automatically photographs anyone who keys in the wrong passcode.
The app captured clear images of the individuals who allegedly took her phone, and Muthoni shared those images widely, urging the public to help identify and locate the suspects.
The campaign gained significant traction, with Citynews helping to circulate the photos in the hope that someone would recognise the faces.
One day after the incident, Muthoni confirmed that the phone was dropped off at a police station, delivered by a rider.
“My phone was dropped at a police station through a rider. It is being held as an exhibit as we continue with the pursuit of all the monies withdrawn and transferred. I want to wish all Kenyans of goodwill who took their time to spread this photo and message,” Muthoni wrote on social media.
