A Kenyan woman from Kitale, Joyce Wanjiku, has reportedly died in Dubai after allegedly jumping from a building.
According to her friend Miriam Rotich, Wanjiku was known as a lively and church-going individual who believed strongly in prayer and was well liked by many.
Miriam expressed disbelief over the circumstances surrounding her friend’s death, saying she does not believe Wanjiku would have taken her own life.
“And I refuse to believe that you went to Dubai just to commit Suicide, instead of working. For the longest time I have known you I want to believe you didn’t jump off that building, someone must have pushed you Kamamaa.” Miriam wrote.
Miriam added that the news has left her devastated and struggling to come to terms with the loss, stating that she is still in denial over the incident.
“The mention of your death is deadly, painful and devastating. I still think Mercy will tell us it’s a lie or mistaken identity. I am in denial. Total denial.” she added.
