Just Like In 2022, Ruto Has Started Crying In Campaign Rallies – Video

President William Ruto has once again started employing tactics of winning the 2027 presidential election.

In the run up to the 2022 presidential election, Ruto, who was facing off against late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, kept crying in political rallies and functions to attract sympathy from Kenyans.

In a calculated move, the President was weeping during sermons, and many Kenyans believed he was a God sent leader, and they elected him as President.

Ruto became President in August 2022, and in the last four years, he has destroyed the economy, killed Gen Zs, and massive plunder of public resources has been looted under his leadership. With less than a year to the 2027 presidential election, the head of state, who knows very well he is minced meat, has started employing tactics that made him defeat late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga during the 2022 presidential election.

In a function in Bomet on Wednesday, the President cried when a young girl in Bomet delivered a poem to him. The girl was lifted onto the roof of Ruto’s vehicle by his bodyguards, with the President also holding her as she climbed onto the open roof platform. As she settled beside him, Ruto warmly embraced her before turning to the crowd.

“Si tusikize hii poem ya huyu mrembo?” Ruto asked, drawing a loud “Yes!” from the crowd. Ruto then leaned against his vehicle and handed the girl a microphone. “Wapi tutam ya babu William ebu nione?” she began, prompting laughter from the crowd and the President himself. Ruto gently embraced her as she prepared to continue.

This crying gimmick is the same tactic the head of state used during the 2022 presidential election. Kenyans on social media have been quick to point out the similarity, with many accusing the President of using emotional manipulation to regain lost support. Critics have argued that instead of crying, Ruto should focus on fixing the economy and addressing the grievances of young people who have borne the brunt of his policies.

Here is the video of Ruto’s employing crying gimmick for sake of sympathy votes
