A Kenyan lady has taken to social media to recount a terrifying ordeal after her house was allegedly set on fire by her estranged ex-lover in what she claims was an attempt to end her life.
Taking to her Facebook page, the visibly shaken woman alleged that her ex-lover, identified only as Allan, torched her house after she decided to move on from the relationship.
According to her, she narrowly escaped death because she was not inside the house when the fire broke out.
“Mwanaume wa mtu anichomee nyumba hivi ati coz nime move on, wewe Allan God will repay you. Life is too short. Ningekuwa kwa hiyo nyumba sai singekuwa hai,” she wrote.
She added that had she been inside the house at the time, social media users would now be mourning her death.
